CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS

The 2005 conference was a true success! The weekend was filled with powerful discussions, debates, workshops, a film festival and live performances by local artists. We wanted to raise awareness about global problems that have local impacts, while showing people how they can take effective action in their own communities -- and thanks to the great help and support of our sponsors, our speakers and our host committee, we succeeded! This conference would not have been the huge success that it was without the support of everyone that came to learn and share ideas. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who were able to attend. Because of you, we exceeded our goal of 300 people for the weekend. In fact, we registered nearly 400 people!
