John Bolton: Wrong Man to Represent the United States at the UN
Organizations and former U.S. Ambassadors hold press conference to oppose nomination

On April 7th, the United States Senate will hold hearings on the nomination of John Bolton as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. John Bolton is the wrong man for the job. Based on his history of derision for the United Nations and his poor performance as Undersecretary, Bolton lacks the skills and credibility necessary to address such key issues as North Korea's and Iran's nuclear programs, global poverty, and making the UN more effective.

WHAT: Press conference featuring former U.S. Ambassadors as well as a wide spectrum of organizations opposing the nomination of John Bolton as UN Ambassador.
The www.StopBolton.org campaign (run by Citizens for Global Solutions) will show its TV ad running in targeted states across the U.S. The ad features Bolton condemning the United Nations: ''If the UN secretary building in New York lost 10 stories, it wouldn't make a bit of difference.'' 1994 Global Structures Convocation.
