  • Section 561 of this resolution sets the amount and qualifications on United States contributions to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). For fiscal year 2004, $25,000,000 will be made available for the UNFPA, contingent upon:

  1. None of the funds may be made available for a country program in the People's Republic of China

  2. The UNFPA maintains amounts made available to the UNFPA in an account separate from other accounts of the UNFPA

  3. The UNFPA does not commingle amounts made available to the UNPFA under this section with other sums

  4. The UNFPA does not fund abortions

  5. The UNFPA does not provide any funding for the State Planned-Birth Commission (Jihua Shengyu Weiyuanhhui) or its regional affiliates in the People's Republic of China
