North Korea Nonproliferation Act of 2006

•  Makes it the policy of the United States to impose sanctions on persons who transfer missiles, nuclear weapons, and other weapons of mass destruction, and goods and technology related to such weapons, to and from North Korea.

•  The president is required to submit reports to Congress on people suspected of transferring the above-mentioned materials.

•  Urges other governments concerned about the threat of North Korean nuclear proliferation to apply similar sanctions.
