• Information on the measures taken by the United Nations, the Organization
for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the North Atlantic Treaty
Organization and, as appropriate, other multilateral organizations in which
the United States participates, to prevent the involvement of the
organization's employees, contractor personnel, and peacekeeping forces in
trafficking in persons or the exploitation of victims of trafficking.
• The United States may provide logistical support for or deploy personnel,
including civilian police, observers, or members of the United States Armed
Forces in support of a peacekeeping mission under the auspices of the United
Nations, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, or any other multilateral
organization in which the United States participates only on or after the
date on which the Secretary of State submits to a Congress a certification
that the multilateral organization in which the United States
participates proves that it has taken appropriate measures to prevent the
organization's employees, contractor personnel, and peacekeeping forces
serving in the peacekeeping mission from trafficking in persons, exploiting
victims of trafficking, or committing acts of illegal sexual exploitation
and to hold accountable any such individuals who engage in any such acts
while participating in the peacekeeping mission.
