 • Calls for changes to the Iran and Syria Nonproliferation Enforcement Act of 2006.

 • Under the applicable sanctions of the Iran Nonproliferation Act of 2000, the international community was to help stop all foreign transfers to Iran of weapons of mass destruction, missile technology, and advanced conventional weapons technology, particularly from Russia.

 • Changes that will be made to the Iran and Syria Nonproliferation Act include the prohibition of all financial acts of assistance and investment of all U.S. parties to Iran.
