• This bill seeks to improve U.S.-International Relations by seeking a common ground for Energy issues. 

• Strengthen global relationships to promote international peace and security through building cooperation in the energy sector.

• Develop an understanding of each countries energy needs and priorities.

• Provide strategic focus for current and future United States Government activities in energy cooperation to meet the global need for energy security.

• Develop and advance programs that will allow for long term energy development, like renewable energy sources.
