Citizens for Global Solutions uses its position as a U.S.- based member
organization to strengthen international law and legal institutions. These
institutions can be used to bring human rights violators to justice, strengthen
democratic development, and fight terrorism. The International Law and Justice
program seeks to promote U.S. global awareness, cooperation, and engagement,
thereby making our world a safe and prosperous place in which to live. Our work includes:
-
Providing nuanced analysis of the interplay between U.S.
foreign policy and international law and justice issues and institutions.
-
Promoting U.S. cooperation with the International Criminal Court to help bring to justice future Hitlers, Pol Pots, and Idi Amins.
-
Ensuring U.S. support for international criminal
tribunals, special courts, and other mechanisms to investigate and
prosecute those responsible for genocide, war crimes and crimes against
humanity.
You can help. By participating in our campaigns, you can ensure that our country renews its commitment to law and justice as a means to building peace in the world.
