PEP is a policy working group made up of NGOs, industry specialists, think tanks, government experts and other organizations with an interest in peace operations.

The PEP policy working group:

• Sponsors briefings/seminars on important and relevant issues pertaining to peace operations, targeted at NGOs, the Congress, the Administration, and/or the Media.

• Provides briefing notes, reports, articles and press releases from relevant organizations/individuals on topics of importance concerning peace operations via the PEP website.

• Sponsors monthly peacekeeping policy forums, which serve as a venue for educational and advocacy organizations, think tanks, practitioners, academics and other interested parties to discuss peace operations, share information, and coordinate activities.
